A good, thorough history and physical exam by your doc can reveal what you may have. So, consult doc. Good luck. ...Read more

I have lupus and im losing my hair you can see my scalp how can I help that? Is there a cream to help my hair grow back that is safe?
With lupus my last blood work stated h RDW & l GFR with tremors down my r side with tingling should this be a big concern to worry about?
Need evaluation: Elevated RDW is not that big a deal, as long as your hemoglobin level is normal. Low GFR is of concern in a person with lupus, as it is an indication of kidney disease. You need to be evaluated further to assess the extent of kidney disease as well as the symptoms you mentioned. I trust that you are under the care of a doctor and you should discuss all of this with her/him. ...Read more

Probably not: False positive FTA-ABS tests sometimes occur in lupus or other connective tissue or autoimmune disorders. But most people with false positive tests don't have anything wrong;, by itself this does not mean you have lupus or any other health problem. Your symptoms don't suggest lupus. You're being evaluated by a doctor, right? S/He might suggest additional testing. Follow her or his advice. ...Read more
Treated for lupus. Now getting intermittent tingling in my upper buttocks and sometimes feet. Throbbing legs at times. No back pain or back issues.?
Tingling: Intermittent tingling is not uncommon. If it resolves with a position change, it may be benign. If you think your nerves are more "sensitive" or "irritable" - ie tingling unusually more than normal, check with your rheumatologist who could run some blood work to quantify if the lupus is active. Some meds can affect this. ...Read more
I have been having lots of joint pain, tingling, and ringing in ears. Sed rate 30, CRP 2.5, cardio CRP 32.3, ANA negative. Could it be lupus or?
My ANA levels are high I took the lupus test it was at a 5 but I still have pains, tingling, numbness in hands, feet, arms, legs. Told me fibromyalga
Question?: I am not sure what you are asking. The ANA is a screening test for lupus but can be seen in numerous other diseases and in people who have no disease. I assume the lupus test you mention is a dna antibody. This test does not have to positive to have lupus. Finally, about 30% of lupus patients also have fibromyalgia. See a rheumatologist if you have not done so already. ...Read more

Can crawling, tingling and vibration sensation over scalp and general body be related to cancer? What type?
By coincidence-maybe: There is nothing specific the symptoms of crawling, tingling, or vibration over the scalp related to any type of cancer that I'm aware. There are numerous other things that share these symptoms and so any finding of cancer in a person complaining of these symptoms would be purely coincidental. I have a tingling/numbness in my scalp - just on the top of my head - for about 9 hours now. It's happened before several times. It's not painful.
Need some testing:
You may either have a painless variant of ALLODYNIA which is typically associated with migraine types of headaches as an aura or premonitory marker and believed to be the propagator if not the consolidator for the long lengths of some episodes of migraine. Or there could be metabolic or other structural items causing symptoms for which labs or testing need to be done.
