Petechiae rashes on upper chest. What could this be? I have had blood test for lupus and sjogren's syndrome but all came back negative except C3 level

Are they petechiae?: Real petechiae do not lose their color when you press down on them. With your dry eyes and joint pain, sjogren and lupus labs are in order. What's your platelet count, did you bleed badly during a dental procedure, and did your physician try something simple like a capillary fragility / tourniquet test? If it really petechiae without signs of clotting trouble, a dermatology consult is in order. ...Read more

I pop and crack--knees, neck, shoulder, hip, low back, and it is sometimes painful or brings upon soreness. Have lupus, but what could cause this?

JHS: 34yo fem. w. "pop & crack neck, shoulder, hip, low back" likely has Joint Hypermobility Syndrome. Joint crepitations are common with this disorder. Bronchitis, lupus and dull, achy pain above right breast. Slight swelling to collarbone. Xray, mammo and us all neg...35 yr female?

Hmm. I'm not sure.: The area above your breast and below your collarbone has muscles, blood vessels, lymph nodes and breast tissue. Your lupus puts you at risk for blood clots, so that's one thought. You have bronchitis, and if you're coughing you could have muscle pain/spasm of your pectoral muscles. Inflammation of lymph nodes in that area is also a possibility. Make sure the ultrasound checked for a blood clot. ...Read more
