I have sjogrens/lupus. When do I need to call my rheum about a small sore on my leg and one on my chest?

Call your rheum doc: Rashes can occur in sjogren's syndrome. If the sore has been there for more than a week and is not healing, or appears infected (pus, tender, red), call your rheumatologist. Based on your particular sjogren's (or lupus?) and medications, he/she may want you to see them or just go to your primary care doctor to have it checked out. If you are worried about it, at least call your regular doctor. ...Read more
