Fluid filled acne very large on cheeks leave red sores. Using polysporne and peroxide. Not on lips no sores in mouth. Still scared?
It should be checked: I don't want to alarm you, but it is highly likely you have a basal cell cancer on the face--the most common type of skin cancers. Being age 60 living in florida, my first guess would be this type of cancer. It is often cured by simple complete excision. I certainly hope I am wrong, but this sounds quite suspicous. Please consult doc for eval. Good luck. ...Read more

Depends: If her complete bloom count and platelets are within normal at her age she probably just has thin fragile skin. When it is bumped it bleeds under the skin that makes it look red and will go away if you do nothing. It is harmless if this is what is happening . Your mom needs to know this from her doctor though. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Probably won't: Triamcinolone cream, a corticosteroid, is not the treatment for the most likely cause which is Angular Cheilits(inflammation of the angles of the lips).
