I just moved here, suffering from severe leg pain, uninsured and need help can't sit for longer than two min, shooting pain and pin and needles ?

Sounds suspicious: For nerve root pain or sciatica. Would need an exam and good history to be able to tell. If either of these things, treatment may include imaging studies and prescriptive medication. Even though uninsured many physicians and hospitals have sliding scale fee structure based upon income. Don't think you have a choice unless otc medication and rest help resolve the pain. ...Read more

L5-S1 : L5-s1 disks can cause severe sciatic leg pain. I would recommend consultation with a spine surgeon if you have failed 3 steroid injections. Leg pain secondary to herniated disk usually responds well to surgery. There are many surgical options including traditional and minimally invasive surgery. I would recommend looking for a surgeon who is experienced in endosocpic minimally invasive surgery. Endoscopic treatment is not always an option, but it is worth exploring due to less tissue damage, quicker discharge and recovery and less post operative pain. Please see my health guide on disk herniations and sciatica for more information. Good luck! ...Read more

Sharp shooting pain down inside of left arm. Sporadic. Not other signs of heart issue. Have appt with orthopaedic doc wed for leg pain, mention this?

Yes: But wouldn't wait. Need to see a doctor sooner. No other heart issues is not sufficient of a statement and even if u were a doctor, you still need a cardiac work-up that includes, at least, an electrocardiogram. I would go to an urgent care center or emergency room. ...Read more

Transverse myleitis. Fluid in r.Knee monday night. Early clotty period tues. Shooting pain kower r.Leg now?

Radiculopathy: Shooting pain like you're describing often comes from injury to peripheral nerves or nerve roots. So, i realize you have transverse myelitis, which could cause pain, but the history you provide actually fits best with a lumbar nerve root being pinched as it exits the spinal canal. I'm getting a sharp shooting pain in my right hip is this due to my left leg being slightly shorterthan the other?
