See dermatologist: Doubt it's either lupus or dermatomyositis since a persistent hand rash (on back of hands only, not on knuckles) is not a presenting symptom. Would recommend seeing a dermatologist.It may be a benign rash requiring no treatment but could indicate an early sign of some other health problem.If the dermatologist decides to do a biopsy, this is often the best way to figure out what is causing the rash. ...Read more

Not sure, I don't : think anyone knows for sure if its okay for sure. No study has been done on those supplement with SLE. I would recommend stay simple supplement with multivitamin, Vit D, B complex. At the most, protein shake for post work out. ...Read more

ANA 1:320: Not all autoimmune disease are totally differenciated into discrete diseases and also markers may appear over time, not initially . What was your double stranded DNA? Complement levels? Rheumatoid factor? Can get false positive ANA from RA, mono , Crohns, viral infection, thyroiditis(check TPO,), meds , silicon implants and 5% healthy. f/u w/ rheumatologist ...Read more
