I am taking Plaquinel for skin lupus. Will I be able to be in the sun okay? Or will it still cause hives, rash, joint pain, exhaustion? Thanks
Sun is dangerous: however, there is nothing special about the plaquinel that I am aware of. Protect your skin, wear a broad brim hat, cover your skin, to prevent skin cancer and early aging. I had a kidney infection recently. I have a red rash on my chest for over a year, butterfly shape. Recently hives & weight gain. Could it be lupus?
Hard to say.: The butterfly rash from lupus is on the face not chest. A rash, kidney infection, hives and weight gain may or may not all be related. Break out in hives in sun, migrating athralgia, rashes, fatigue, muscle weakness, neuropathy but neg ANA ENA fbc etc. Surely must be early lupus?
