Depends: Lupus nephritis can lead to chronic kidney disease (an elevated creatinine on your bloodtest). If you have ckd, then beets are bad for you. Beets have a high amount of potassium so people with ckd can not eliminate that excess potassium. High potassium in the body can lead to cardiac issues. A patient with: Combined lupus and anoerexia nervosa would be challenging. I am not sure, has she had a diagnosis of lupus? Anoerexia refers to no appetite and can be a part of illness, anoerexia nervosa is a body dysmorphic disorder, a psychiatric condition. If she is very thin and eats little while being preoccupied with calories, may be that but needs a psychiatrist. If its appetite loss it's different. ...Read more
