See rheumatologist: The bleeding ulcer is not the usual presentation for lupus. In fact, prednisone may worsen it. No: Blood in the stool is not a normal occurrence but not related to lupus. If it is fresh blood with wiping after a bowel movement, then hemorrhoids can be suspected as the cause.
