Who feels fluid?: Do you mean you feel his head and neck and you feel something like fluid and swelling, or he feels like there is fluid inside his head? It depends: Nobody knows what lupus actually is, so it's diagnosed by criteria. http://www.rheumtutor.com/2012-slicc-sle-criteria/ i need to give you 2 heads-up -- homogeoneous ANA pattern may be a lab error, and people who think they have lupus but don't meet the criteria tend to have a favorable prognosis. No: If lupus is in remission you should not have symptoms of the disease and you should be able to taper off prednisone. It is very common to have Fibromyalgia with lupus.
