Lupus And Aching Lymph Nodes Under Arm
I have two swollen lymph nodes on back of neck at night swell during the day they shrink some on right side under arm is sore but no knot please help?
19 y/o, 2 movable lymph nodes in right armpit. Not growing in size, sometimes aches, bad anxiety, docs don't seem bothered. Can't stop worrying.
See if this helps: It's good that they are moveable and sore. Malignancies often are fixed and painless. Also good that the doctors are untroubled. It 'd be better if they were able to convey relief as well as lack of concern, but tight schedules make that hard. A likely cause is an infection of some sort. A cyst is also a possibility (nothing to fret about). Don't use anti-perspirant. Give it time, then ask again.
No: Cold viruses may cause mild enlargement of nodes in the neck only. Lymph nodes act as a trap or filter to prevent germs from spreading to other parts of the body, and in so doing become enlarged and tender. Cuts on your arm, or using a razor to shave the axilla, can introduce bacteria which get trapped by your lymph nodes. **See your Dr if swollen glands persist SEE:http://bit. If you have a bad cold can the lymph nodes under your arm pits get swollen and/or sore? What are some things that can cause this, if not the cold?
Could: Happen. Lymph nodes will get sore when body trying to fight off infections. Could be due to the cold could be skin irritation. But wait until you feel better. If the nodes don't calm done look for other causes. Since you are not feeling well I believe this is the cause
I noticed that my lymph nodes in my arm pits are swollen and sore but I feel fine, I don't have a family dr, should I got to a walkin or wait it out?
I feel painful aches where my lymph nodes are in my arms, behind my knees and the groin area. Is this normal?
No: Normal lymph nodes do not hurt. If they become painful or enlarged, especially if it happens in more than one location, a doctor's evaluation is needed. A primary care doctor is the person to begin with, and he can refer to specialists if needed.
Can the lymph nodes in your armpits hurt a few days before your period? I can't feel them but under my arms are a little sore. No visible difference
More likely breast: Rather than lymph nodes, I suspect that you have a bit of "ectopic" breast tissue in your armpits. This is not terribly rare. Some women have breast tissue in the armpits. Just as the rest of your breast can get swollen and hurt before your period, so can this tissue. Best to see a doctor at this point in your cycle to be sure.
Can you feel lymph nodes in chest and arms by elbow? I don't feel them but having minor aches there recent blood test normal ekg normal chest X-ry nrml
Elbow nodes R palp: To see Lymph nodes in chest may require CT scan. I know not what you are worried about if aches are minor, you have not expressed reason for this fear. Please give more information as to your concern & repeat question.
My left arm has been sore and since yesterday. Today I noticed that there was HUGE swollen spot of lymph nodes on the thumb side just below the elbow.
Lymph Nodes: That is not a typical place to find swollen lymph nodes and that isolated finding is not an obvious description of any common medical condition or infection. Without further information I cannot help with diagnosis but if it is huge swollen and worsening I would have a doctor look at it today.
I have an enlarged axillary lymph node under my left arm. It is visibly noticeable and quite sore. I've often had enlarged lymph nodes while I was sick bit I feel fine and this one is quite a bit larger than usual.
Lymphadenopathy: Studies show that approximately 1.1% of primary care patients presenting with lymphadenopathy have malignancy. The axillary lymph nodes drain the breast, chest wall and upper extremity. Lymphadenopathy that is persistent >3 weeks should be investigated. Most causes of axillary lymphadenopathy are reactive in nature. A full medical history and physical exam should be performed. See your MD.
I woke up today with sore, sensitive skin up and down my left forearm. I also have painful lymph nodes under my arm and breast. What could this be?
25 y old male. If you have sore throat/cold would that cause lymph nodes in arm pit to enlarge? I thought only neck lymph nodes enlarge with sore throat
Need exam: A sore throat will cause the lymph glands in the neck to enlarge, but not the axillary or arm pit nodes. If there is not cut, abrasion, or rash on the arm, then you need to be see your DR. If you have the cut, abrasion or rash, and the nodes do not go down in two weeks, then you need to be seen.See 1 more doctor answer
Swollen lymph nodes under arms, lasted for 2 wks and were sore. Now 1 at base of skull, it to is sore. Only change is working out & natural deodorant.
See a doctor: You should see a doctor. They may or may not be lymph nodes but either way you need an exam.
Inflamed/Infected: Lymph nodes are the body's "army barracks" preparing or fighting a "war". The enemy is usually suspected in an area served by those particular underarm nodes. Inflammation or infection - viral or bacterial - can cause lymph nodes to swell. There are several reasons these particular nodes could be swollen. However, they are very important due to relationship to breasts. Check it out.
Any nodes: Persisting for that period of time should be evaluated, especially if new ones are starting to appear. See your doc and get examined for a plan.See 1 more doctor answer
Can you feel lymph nodes under arm even when not swollen? What are they shaped like when not swollen?
Lymph nodes: These are seldom capable of being palpated when not enlarged for some reason.
Pinched Nerves: Swollen lymph nodes in the arm pit is a concern for a physician. It is possible there are two different pathologies or conditions going on here. From the picture, it looks like there is climbing which could explain shoulder blade pain radiating to the neck and might be a pinched nerve. It would be a stretch to equate a pinched nerve to swollen glands like this. I would see a doctor and soon.
No: Swollen lymph nodes under armpits suggests a more systemic problem. You need to see a doctor.See 1 more doctor answer
