Hi, I am on decapeptyl mthly injections about to take my 3rd one, can you get pregnant on these? Also can I start IVF right away? Thanks!

Unlikely: Decapeptyl injections are very similar to Lupron (leuprolide) and both turn off the reproductive cycle resulting in no periods, no ovulation and low estrogen levels. Low estrogen levels make patients feel menopausal so often we use add back therapy to decrease the side effects. The first cycle you could ovulate or may have already ovulated so could be pregnant. After that month pregnancy is very unlikely. ...Read more

Ekg results were sinus bracardyia with short pr syndrome. I am currently on ivf injections and suffer from aniexty. Can aniexty and meds make ekg abnormal?

Short pr: Sinus bradycardia is very common in young adults. Accelerated AV conduction(short pr interval) can make you prone to episodes or supraventricular tachycardia. I don't believe that anxiety or your treatment caused these EKG findings. I would avoid caffeine, alcohol, nicotine and other stimulants all of which can initiate tachycardia by making the heart more irritable. A Cardiologist can advise you. ...Read more
