It could be from something like pleurisy/irritation to your pleura ( outside lining of your lung) vs, muskuloskeletal related- however if you have other symptoms, bronchitis/pneumonia, blood clot etc. Should be also ruled out. I've had a cough for the last 2 weeks. Only until 3 nights ago, I've developed a deep throbbing pain in both my lungs when lying down.

More info needed: Because you mentioned that lying down makes the pain come out--I wonder if you may be having gas pains pushing up on your left diaphragm.
