The Devil's in ya!!: MAYBE it's a virus and you have an irritation of your lung lining as part of your misery(called "pleuritis," aka "Devil's grippe").If you have any of it for more than,say, two weeks you need to be checked again. Non specific sxs: there are many conditions can give you the same presentation like you described. - for instance, bronchial asthma, anxiety, plus minus anemia, muskuloskeletal problem, pleurisy etc. although it is possible, you are a bit too young for lung cancer. other conditions are more common . you should see your MD to get checked. some imaging like CXR or CT lung can show if there is mass in the lung etc. ...Read more

Internist or an ER: You need lungs evaluated. In an ER your Oxygen saturation and vital signs can be eval. On Physical exam should be able to detect how well lungs fill with air. You will also get an XRAY of your chest. An ER is expensive. Internist (or Urgent care) will also have a saturation meter and should be able to detect how well lungs fill.
