You mention in: The profile, you have copd. Do you still smoke? The size of the nodules are important, as whether they have calcification. Ultimately, you may need a biopsy. That will determine cancer or not. ...Read more

Did you get the: Ct scan because you were short of breath? Lung cancer screening in those over 55 that smoked, 32k screens; 4k nodules of which 1% were cancer. Find a good internist. Getting a ct at your age was unwise. Quit smoking if you do. Lots of causes as dr. Legha suggests. ...Read more

sometimes: I agree that's a long time. Have you stopped smoking 100% to allow full healing of your lungs and respiratory tract? Has fever resolved? Is your cough improved? If the answer to all 3 questions is "yes" - i'd give it more time. Otherwise, go back to your treating doc for another look. And please don't smoke anymore! ...Read more
