Lumpy Painful Breasts
I've had breast pain in both breast for 12 days now with lumpiness and denseness. Left breast hurts worse than other. Fibrocystic possibly??
Maybe but: But also consider other hormonal influences and even pregnancy. This is something you can discuss with your physician.
Breast pain is common. It is typically experienced during the menstrual period. Pain can range from mild tenderness, burning, dull ache, sharp or stabbing. It can be experienced in 1 or both breasts. Fibrocystic changes is the most common cause of breast pain. Hormonal medications (birth control, hormones) can cause pain as well. Infection ...Read more
3 weeks of breast pain on top and underarm. comes and goes. Ropy and lumpiness. 75% pain in left breast and 25% in right one. 21yr. Panicking nonstop!
Dont panic!: most things in 21 year olds are not bad and most bad things are not painful. Is it related to your period? Are there certain things that make it worse? What kind of breast history does your family have? These are all things to discuss with your MD. If still concerned he/she can order an Ultrasound to reassure you.
Was told I have hormonal changes that cause breast pain and lumps can this extend to lumpy painful upper stomach and sore ribs?
Pregnant?: Pregnancy is always a possibility. Take a home pregnancy test. They usually become positive when you are about a week late. If it's negative, repeat it in a week and see your doctor.
No, Not normal: You should go see your gynecologist and get examined and find the reason for this pain.
Unrelated: Pain in breast tissue is usually the effect of excess hormone on the breast duct system. One would not expect that the removal of one ovary would increase the hormone output to effect changes in breast duct tissue to initiate symptoms related to fibrocystic disease.
Im on cetazette for ova a year with no problems but from 10th march i benn sick backach painful breasts darking nipples?
Not related : It is unclear what you are asking. If you are asking if these sudden symptoms are related to the birth control pill you have been taking for a year then the answer is probably not.
I am a 40 yr old woman very 2 very painful breasts....had a full hysterectomy 5 yrs ago..it's not a soreness it's pain. ..
Since january I have experienced swollen painful breasts & abdominal pain. I had a hysterectomy may 2013, i kept my ovaries. What is happening to me?
Hormonal changes: The average age of menopause is 51, so at 47 it would still be a little early, but not impossible for these changes to be related to menopause. I would definitely want you to see a doctor though, to make sure that there's nothing serious going on. Typically Progesterone is the hormone that causes breast pain and it could be that your hormones are just 'off'. See a doctor though to make certain!
I have breast pain and I feel lumpy in both of my breast I'm on beta blocker but i had this pain for a fews weeks what should I do?
Breast pain: See your PCP to have the breast pain evaluated
Eval: Please don't attempt to remove a breast mass yourself. Recommend making an appointment with your physician who can assess and refer to a specialist as appropriate.
Possibly: If you have missed a period then it is very likely one of the first things to exclude(or include) is pregnancy. Get tested or see your ob-gyn md.
I have heavy painful breasts 5 days till a week after period finished, is it normal at my age or is it a hormonal imbalance?
I am on ranitidine at the moment & i've got very itchy armpits (develops at night), itchy & slightly painful breasts. Is this due to ranitidine?
Could be?: These types of medications, especially Cimetidine (tagamet) are know to cause breast tenderness. Itching? I am not so sure about, however, if there is a one on one correlation to taking a medication and developing symptoms, there is a good chance it may be the cause. One can stop and see if symptoms go away and restart and see if they recur? May just want to go to a different med. Ask your pcp?See 1 more doctor answer
