Hard to answer: This is hard to tell without seeing them. There are some larger lumps at the back of the tongue that are normal. They are taste buds, There are also normal bumps on front of tongue called papillae. Lumps in tongue: Are they stable in size?, create swallowing problems, pain, difficulty in breathing, or in clearing tracheal secretions? The causes are multiple. You should see an ENT specialist, he may do a biopsy. The time is to long usually by now most are in process of remission.
Lie bumps are little red or white bumps on the tongue. They may form due to stress, hormones, particular foods.
Canker sores are another form of tongue bumps. They typically get better within 10 days without treatment.
Most bumps on the tongue aren’t serious, but some may be cancerous
