Probably not: In general, pea sized lymph nodes near mucous membranes (head & neck, groin) are not worrisome unless they are painful or growing.

Have them checked: Tender axillary nodes can be a sign of infection such as a virus but if they are only on one side, you need to see a doctor to rule a more serious cause, .

Hiradinitis: The way you describe sounds like a lesion with pus formation it is more common in armpits. But any area where the hair is curly can cause this issue. Need to use hot pack to soften the induration (lumps) and can use antibiotic like neosporin if the area gets bigger and painful need to see your doctor.

Have to be there!: Lumps on the scalp are often sabaceous cysts: they grow from blocked glands that produce oil or sweat. They are problematic when they bother the person -or when they become infected. These can be removed by a doctor. Soft lumps may be lipomas: fatty growths. I would encourage you not to squeeze or otherwise try to remove these on your own, though. Have your wife's doctor evaluate her. Lgromkomd.

Hematoma: I would recommend that you should consult a physician and get x-rays done to rule out mandible or jaw bone fracture. My guess is that you probably have developed a hematoma which is a collection of blood under the skin. Large hematomas sometimes need to be evacuated surgically. While smaller ones can resolve spontaneously.

Could be: sebaceous cyst or lipoma. Show it to your doctor before it gets too big. It it does need surgical removal, scar will be bigger if the lump is bigger.

Maybe normal anatomy: Without better localization, or a picture, we can't comment with greater accuracy. However, what you describe may be a normal anatomic feature. If any doubt, ask your doctor to check it.

Hard lump under the skin on inner thigh, bikini line, doesn't hurt. Feels like fatty tissue, no redness, no head. Kind of scared.

Hard or fatty?: A hard lump could be a small fibroma. A fatty lump would not be hard. This would be a lipoma. Both are usually benign but to be sure you need an exam. Get it checked out so you can stop worrying about it. Hope this helps.

I have a very tender lump on the side of my head near my right temple it's under the skin nothing visible but there's pressure what is this?

Various entities: There are various entities that can present as a tender lump on the scalp. The most common types of lumps on the scalp are cysts and lipomas. There are other growths as well, but they are not as common. Cysts can become tender if they are inflamed or infected. If a lipoma, cyst, or other type of growth impinges on a nerve, that can cause tenderness. I would have it evaluated by a dermatologist
