I have faint blood dots on the tissue when I wiped, and lumps on my areola's, I also have pcos, could I be pregnant?

Pregnancy: There is no way to know if you are pregnant based on the color, character or amount of vaginal bleeding. Also, many signs/symptoms of pregnancy may be signs/symptoms of other cycle related issues. With pcos, you may not have regular, predictable cycles that allow for knowledge of predicted ovulation. If you've had unprotected sex and could have possibly ovulated, check a pregnancy test. Read more

During self breast exam I note my areolas feel lumpy beneath the skin. Some lumps larger and firmer than others. Are lumps meant to be there?

During self breast exam I note my areolas feel lumpy beneath the skin. Some lumps larger and firmer than others. Are lumps meant to be there?

Normal findings...: The breast tissue usually feels "lumpy" because of the mammary glands which give them that quality. However, if you have felt a hard lump or larger than usual that persists for several days or more it is time to have that checked with your doctor. Also if you have skin changes on your breast area, fluid coming out of your nipples or changes in your nipple appearance you need immediate evaluation. Read more

Not to ignore: B"sd
not to be ignored - even if you had your mammogram last week. With a negative mammogram a cancer is unlikely but any change in the breast as you described should be brought to medical attention. It is not an emergency, so you could wait a week and if it goes away should probably just maintain routine breast health surveillance. Read more

Cyst: Cysts and fibroadenomas (benign tumors) are the most common cause of unilateral breast pain. I would see your doctor for a breast exam soon. They will likely order an ultrasound and/or mammogram to determine what the cause is. Sometimes there is no cause found. In those cases ibuprofen and evening primrose oil (pills) can be somewhat helpful. Read more

Exam: It's difficult to say what is happening, but you should have an examination by a medical practitioner. Soreness of a single breast could possibly be a sign of pregnancy, if you are active in that way, but usually it is both breasts. Please take care of this so you won't have to worry. Read more

Not necessarily: Go to see your doc and have further examination. If I am not mistaken, you are talking about a breast lump/breast enlargement correct- or gynecomastia. There are different causes of gynecomastia- from hormonal, medication, other disease-such as liver disease, tumor etc. If your doctor thinks that there is a lump there- a mammogram or sonogram of the breast as well as other blood tests can be done.
