I have a hard, big knot behind both ears that are not painful at all, one is bigger than the other and I just noticed them when cleaning my ears.

Infection/tumor/othr: There are many possible causes- it sounds like you may have enlarged lymph nodes which can be due to infection or tumor. The types of infection are many- some serious- some easily treatable. It would be important to have this evaluated by your doctor. I'm 39 & I've noticed a change in the Shape of my skull. The flat area @ my crown is a deeper dent & I have a ridge behind both ears? Causes/concerns?
Should not change: Once the skull has finished growing which is no later than 25 years old there should be no change in the skull shape. Behind the ears, the skull does feel like ridges. A further indentation at the crown area would indicate possibly some new bone growth. There are some disorders in which this occurs but they are not usually selective to just the skull.
