I have be having pain on the side of my foot I have notice it's a lump on the side of my foot and my ankle is swollen. It hurts to walk or stand ?
I would recommend: you see a foot and ankle doctor. The doctor ail likely take X-rays to make sure there is no injury to the bone and be able to offer you a diagnosis and treatment plan. I have a painless lump on the side of my foot next to my heel. I noticed it yesterday because it was itching.Should i be concerned and see a doctor?
Yes: I wouldn't be over concerned since the lump is recent. I would see the doctor if the lump is not going away, especially if it is hard in nature. If there is any redness to the area, go see someone tomorrow. You may also want to try soaking the area in warm water and epsom salt a few times a day until you get into the doctor. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Try taking an antiinflammatory and avoid tight shoes till you can get to the foot doc. ...Read more
I have 2 hard and somewhat painful lumps on the side sole of feet they are on the outside of each foot, what is it?
See a Podiatrist.: This sounds like it is probably the base of your fifth metatarsals causing some pressure callouses. May also be plantar fibromas but less likely if it is on both feet in the same spot. See a podiatrist, get some x-rays. Probably a very simple problem with a simple solution. If the first doctor you see suggests surgery, get a second opinion. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
I'm a runner and have had a lump -dime size on the side of my foot for about a year. Causes no pain. Not going away. Should i be concerned?
Don't mess with it.: If you are running painlessly with a dime size lump on your foot, I see no reason to have someone fool with it. The lump will do one of three things. Go away, stay the same or enlarge. Two out of three ain't bad. Leave it alone unless the nature of the lump changes radically. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
