I have a lump (not painful) which feels about 4cm by 2cm. It is on my ribs, just on my back. I can move it around a little. Help!

Sounds like fat cyst: Sometimes sweat gland can grow inwards producing a cyst. If this bothers U, can be removed. The cyst has capsule around it which also needs removed and leaves indentation which dissapears slowly. If it begins to smell or leak U can have removed w insur claiming infected, Otherwise ins may not pay. Also they can recur. Show primary MD & seek derm to examine. I have had these lumps one on each side of my body under the ribs for about 6 years. I had an ultrasound done when i firat found them and never heard back. Wonder what they are. No pain or nothing?
