Recommendation: Possible you have a sprain of your wrist. In this condition you need to put ice on wrist for 20-30 min through the first 12 hours and then to put nsome splint for wrist. Ganglion cyst: Most likely what you are describing is a cyst. Though not commonly bilateral it can happen. Without a picture and an exam it's hard to say but there aren't many other structures in that area that would explain large lumps. Read more
Hello I have had a hard lump appear almost overnight on my left wrist, I joined a gym on Sunday and used light weights could this be why?

The cause of fluid is repeated movements of the wrist bones causing irritation. This should improve with rest but will reoccur with increased activity. Different options: The wrist has a lot of things in it both in the skin and below it. Sweat glands, hair follicles and skin cysts as well as lymph nodes, fatty tissue, tendons, vessels and other things. Is the lump growing, inflamed, painful, painless, draining, recurrent or constant, moveable or fixed...? Each of these (and many more) will provide your doc the answers as to what it is and what needs to be done. Read more
Best to ask your Dr.: That's good that you have a lump or cyst on your wrist that isn't bothering you. Your doctor can better answer what you should do and can do in case you want to remove it. Hurt Wrist: If you hit something hard very likely to break a bone unless you have very weak bones. Most of the time it is injury of the tissues surround a bone like fascia and tendon or muscle.
