I've got 2 of them: I've got 2 of these things in the same place as you since age 9. They didn't turn out to be anything hazardous or important...wouldn't you agree? They are common and can be anything from a calcific lymph node to a small benign bony growth called an exostosis or osteoma. All harmless. By all means have it checked out though. I : I recommend , you should consult your primary care physician so that you can be checked properly and if necessary he can order some tests and also refer you to specialist if necessary. Tender lumps may be lymph nodes because of some infection but please you need to be checked by the physician to be on safe side. ...Read more
