Lump On Pubic Area Symptoms
Constant pain for week about 2 inchs above the pubic hair area on right hand side? Can't feels lumps & not tender when pressing. No other symptoms
Adenopathy: I would guess that that is likely a swollen lymph node. If you have had a chronic infection, like in your armpit, that can cause swelling of lymph nodes elsewhere. It is possible your chronic infection may not be staph or maybe not an infection at all. Consider a biopsy of you arm nodes if this is a chronic problem.
Pea sized fleshy sort of lump on pubic area. It is underneath the skin and not painful at all, I do shave and wondering if I need to get this checked?
Probable cyst: There are a number of conditions that cause lumps and bumps to appear on the surface of the skin or just below the skin. The most common are skin cysts and epidermoid cysts (aka sebaceous cysts) which is consistent with what you are describing. As long as "lump" is not painful and not changing in size and appearance, would just observe and have your doctor check it at your next routine visit.
I have a peasize lump in pubic area. So I shave and look at it. It grow big when I touch it and getting small when I don't notice it. Its been 4days?
Bump at pubic area: It could be genital wart or molluscum contangiosum
No.: Occasional small lumps that come and go are common. Not large lumps. And certainly not lumps that are progressively enlarging. See your doc to figure out how big they really are and whether they need monitoring.
I have lumps in my pubic area. My gyno told me they are fatty deposits. Now I am feeling them when I wipe in both areas. Should I get a secomd opini?
Yes: If you doubt any diagnosis, you should get a second opinion. "fatty deposits" can occur in the vaginal area.

Am sexually active and have a hard painful lump at the very top of my pubic area, winding what it could be?
Skin infection.: Are you shaving this area? This is becoming fashionable and causing more skin infections, which could be dangerous and hard to treat. If it is very small and not too pain Gil, you may try Bacitracin or Neosprin OTC. If it continues to enlarge and get more painful see a doctor for antibiotic treatment. One problem we see now is something called MERSA, which needs a health professionals management.
Why can I feel a lump in like the v line near the pubic region been there for a while and on and of aches in that area too?
Swelling: Sounds like a lymph node. When we have any type of infection our body filters the bad stuff out through the lymph nodes which are located throughout our body. That area drains the lower extremity as well as the reproductive organs. Make sure to see your doctor to have this checked out, simple tests can rule things out. Hope this helps and swelling goes down.
What does it mean to have painful knots (lumps) in the pubic area on side of vagina...I heard it comes in the place of sickness?
Lymph nodes?: It sounds like you are describing swollen lymph nodes in your groin area. You are correct that your lymph nodes swell in response to an infection in the area. For example, if you had genital herpes, your groin lymph nodes would swell. If you had strep throat, your neck lymph nodes would swell. If this is a new symptom, you might want to get it checked by a doctor to rule out an infection.
I noticed this small ball like lump under my skin on my upper pubic area. Doesn't hurt unless touched and it moves around a little?
Possible Abscesses: It sounds like you may have some abscesses with or without cellulitis. You may need antibiotics and possible drainage of the abscesses if they are fully formed. In the meantime analgesia like paracetamol and ibuprofen will help but also running the area under hot water and soap as often as it is convenient should help. You should let a doctor take a look at it.See 1 more doctor answer
I have a red mark on my pubic area. Underneath the mark is a lump that dosnt move and has doubled in size over the last week and it dosnt hurt?
Probably needs eval: Hard to say without knowing exactly where. Most lumps in the groin are benign, but any lump that is hard, not movable and doubling has got to be investigated.
Penny sized lump on the lower middle part of my abdomen just above the pubic area. It's come up before and it's painful when I move/when I touch it.
Probably nothing: Probably a lipoma - benign fatty tumor - however get it checked out to be sure.
A week ago I noticed a peasized lump on my pubic area. It's under the skin, not painful. I've had something similar but it went away. What could it be?
Hmmm.: Dermatologic conditions are hard to evaluate without seeing them in person. Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health, but, Small infections like acne or boils are quite common there. Spreading redness implies an infection needing antibiotic but a lot of them heal on their own, .
I have an under the skin lump near my pubic area. Not sure what it is, this isn't the first time. Sometimes it hurts other times it doesnt. What is it?
Examination: Without an examination it is difficult to know for sure. In this area you can get ingrown hairs, pimples, abscesses, something called hidradenitis, swollen lymph nodes, growths.... Have it looked at next time it happens
Here are some...: Are the lump hurting you in which way, and how long has it been? Without a detailed set of info on the specifics, relevance, & sequence of events of the lump (s), it is hard to tell what it may be. But it is not that hard to sort all related things out correctly for good care by following suggestion in articles listed in http://formefirst. Com/onDealSickness. Html. Best wish to health...
