I have a lump on the hard palate of mouth, close to teeth. I went to hospital doctor, been told that it has fluid in it but it's been there for about 4 months now.
I had all 4 of my erupted wisdom teeth out in nov. 2011. I now have a small tender lump in the soft palate of my mouth. Could this be a fragment?
Not likely.: A lump in the soft palate a year and a half after your extractions is not likely to have any association with that previous surgery. You should have that evaluated by either an oral surgeon or ENT (otolaryngologist). They will probably ask you if the area might have been traumatized (burned, etc) just before it's appearance and how it is behaving (getting better or worse).
