Found a spot/lump on outer vagina, is purple/red, about half cm in width and isn't sore. Should I be worried? Scared it may be a tumour.

Possible Abscesses: It sounds like you may have some abscesses with or without cellulitis. You may need antibiotics and possible drainage of the abscesses if they are fully formed. In the meantime analgesia like paracetamol and ibuprofen will help but also running the area under hot water and soap as often as it is convenient should help. A Bartholin's Cyst: It is very ikely that you have a barthoin's cyst--it is typically not an infection but can be caused by infection which blocks the gland/duct, thus collection of fluid (swelling) to cause the "bump." this can be size of a pea up size of an egg.
