Cancer is possible, specifically Hodgkin's lymphoma given your age, although enlarged lymph nodes in Hodgkins are more often painless. Other cancers would be less likely. Make an appointment to see your doctor so that it can be evaluated. Overall odds are that it is not going to be something serious. ...Read more

Lymph nodes?: It sounds as if you're got a few palpable lymph nodes, include at least one of the supraclavicular group. The average young person (my series) has two palpable lymph nodes. If they get really big or become fixed to a nearby structure, ask your physician. Best wishes. ...Read more

See Your Doctor: You have 2 lumps "right side of neck". Lumps that can be felt in the neck region are usually prominent lymph nodes which are part of your immune system. Infection, trauma, & cancers can cause them to enlarge with or without pain. However, a prominent node can be a benign finding. You should have your doctor take a look to provide the correct diagnosis and for reassurance if no treatment is needed. ...Read more

Pinched nerve: A pinched nerve in the neck can cause a tingling or shooting pain sensation that might radiate in the neck and down an arm. The problem could be related to a disk issue in your neck. An MRI could possibly look into this further. I hope this helps. ...Read more

Neck Nodes: Greetings. The need for a biopsy is a decision based on multiple factors. Some of these risk factors include, recent change in the nodes, do you smoke or drink alcohol, family history of cancer, other lymph node swelling in other areas, skin appearance, tenderness of the neck and degree of mobility of these nodes. You had an image that gave sizes and it looks like a good ENT managing your case. ...Read more

Nodes : It's likely you have a slightly enlarged lymph node in your neck. As long as it moves freely underneath the skin and is less than a cm in size, you are probably fine. However, i would suggest that you have your doctor take a look and feel of the area just to make sure. ...Read more
