Mri : I believe further investigation is needed. If for no other reason peace of mind. MRI is ideal to see if is a lipoma a fatty tumor or something else. The fact that it has changed is of note. Best visit your doctor and discuss what to do next ...Read more

See PCP : 'lumps' on shoulder blades could be several things but what u should do is see your physician. Fatty benign tumors( lipomas) are common here.If u fell, an organizing hematoma may be forming. Osteochondromas are not uncommon on the scapula. Lipoma?: You should see a surgeon for exam and probable excision. Lipomas are self-contained fatty growths that are usually left alone unless they become large enough to cause discomfort, which is what it sounds like you have. Surgeon can do exam and see if something else or remove. ...Read more

Numbness, lumps: These could be related, as a lump (nodule or mass) may cause pressure on a superficial nerve in that area. Grinding is common with some people's joints (crepitus) and if not painful is of little concern.
