However, there are lymph nodes located just behind the mid point of the clavicle that might be enlarged and mistaken for the bone itself. Enlargement here would be significant. Hard to say: Hard to say. The clavicle articulates with the sternum medially. Sometimes the sternoclvicular joint can beome quite enlarged, often from an injury or an arthritic condition. Lump: It is probably an enlarged lymph node and likely benign. It could be a cyst of some kind, but thats less likely. Why was it xrayed twice? See your pediatrician.
