Most common lumps --: Lipomas or Ganglion cyst. They can be confirmed with an Exam. MRI is quite helpful in making the Diagnosis. Other possibilities would be a low grade infection, or bleeding in to a cyst, which makes these painful and tender. FB (foreign body) like a glass piece or a thorn prick, needle, toothpick etc can all be responsible for it.
