I have a small pea size to marble size squishy lump on my collar bone that moves around. Should it be checked?

Yes: Don't be alarmed-I would recommend you make an appointment to see your regular doctor about the lump. Most lumps do not represent a serious disease or condition, but in some cases they might be something more concerning. It would be very easy for your primary care doctor to check out the lump and make sure it is nothing dangerous or how to best evaluate and treat the lump. ...Read more

I have a small pea size lump on my left collar bone, it moves & is painful also large lump on left wrist both appeared at same time. What are these?

Ganglion cysts: Most likely they are ganglion cysts. It is pretty common to get one at your wrist. As far as collar bone goes, it depends on where it is located. If it is more towards your shoulder at the ac joint then it is more likely to be a small ganglion. Because the rest of the collarbone does not have any joints in it, it would be more rare for it to come up there. I would have it checked out by ortho. ...Read more

Lymph nodes?: It sounds as if you're got a few palpable lymph nodes, include at least one of the supraclavicular group. The average young person (my series) has two palpable lymph nodes. If they get really big or become fixed to a nearby structure, ask your physician. Best wishes. ...Read more

Movable small lump on collar bone. Normal lymph node or a sign of something?

Probably normal: May be a small lymph node reacting to some local inflammation, but without examining it impossible to be sure. The location, the fact that it is mobile, and the absence of other symptoms suggests this is nothing to worry about, but should it get larger, hard to the touch, fixed to underlying tissue, other symptoms develop, more appear, it becomes tender and painful, see a doctor. ...Read more

Lump on left side of collar bone causes?

Nonspecific: Unfortunately this is an extremely nonspecific description. A soft fatty lump may be a simple lipoma, which is benign and does not require treatment. If you have had prior fracture of the collar bone, you may be feeling a bony callus or a residual deformity from the fracture. If the lump is tender or has unusual coloration or has been rapidly changing in size, then you need evaluation. ...Read more
