BP management: If you are having pain during the daytime, perhaps it is related to muscular strain. If there are any masses, lymph nodes which can be felt, I would suggest a follow up visit with your PCP. This problem is unlikely to be related to the flu illness which you had in December. Follow up: I would recommend you follow up to be seen directly. Although there are multiple possibilities, one of the more likely findings you are describing is lymphadenopathy, in which the lymph nodes are abnormally seollen often related to an infectious or inflammatory process. Unusual: It is unusual that ligament strain would result in lumps. The other information that i would want to know is if you are male vs female. In females, i would make sure of a recent breast examination, as cysts can occur. The other other possibility are lipomas, which are soft deposits of fat within the skin tissues.
