There's a lump under my skin. Its hard. And it moves. My face is a little swollen. It hurts to touch it. There is no mark on the surface of my skin.?

I noticed this small ball like lump under my skin on my upper pubic area. Doesn't hurt unless touched and it moves around a little?
Possible Abscesses: It sounds like you may have some abscesses with or without cellulitis. You may need antibiotics and possible drainage of the abscesses if they are fully formed. In the meantime analgesia like paracetamol and ibuprofen will help but also running the area under hot water and soap as often as it is convenient should help. You should let a doctor take a look at it.See 1 more doctor answer

Hello, I found a little lump on left side of back of my head, it seems connected to skull, its painless and skin moves freely over it, im so concerned?
Usually is: Lymph nodes are located throughout the body ; generally noticable in exposed areas like the neck. They are usually pea sized at rest and enlarged when stimulated by bug bites, dermatitis, drainage or infection. They rarely can become damaged by infection ; grow to golf ball size ; need drainage or removal. Most enlarge and later shrink back down within a 3 wk cycle unless chronically stimulated.
Small lump on the back of my neck near my spine. Several months ago it popped with a soft material. Will not go away and is under skin, painless, moves?
Epidermal cyst: Epidermal cysts are benign, but they are a nuisance, because they periodically go through the cycle that you described. Eventually it will swell up and pop again, discharging evil-smelling toothpaste-like stuff, and later on it will do it again... So you should have it removed. Any dermatologist can do it in the office with local anesthetic. Minor surgery. No hurry.See 1 more doctor answer
May not be: But has to see your doctor to make sure it is not skin cancer.
Doctor can check: A primary care doctor, dermatologist, plastic surgeon, or general surgeon can evaluate to see if this is a epidermal inclusion cyst or something else, such as a lipoma. A cyst might happen when a skin pore is blocked, and dead skin cells build up under the skin, forming a lump. Usually, one starts with a primary care doctor, who can refer to a specialist if needed, or if the lump looks worrisome.

Sometimes the node permanently remains as a burned out small mass and is not significant. If the mass in your neck enlarges, becomes tender or if new masses appear, see your Physician for evaluation.
