Small ball-like lump in back of thigh under buttocks and swollen back of thigh muscle with pain down to the knee and in groin?
Aching pain in left inside upper thigh and groin area. Sometimes radiates to left lower back area. No swelling.
Dull sometimes throbbing pain in lower left abdomen that radiates down into inner left thigh. Also have had a swollen lymph node in left groin weeks.

What's your question: "lump in top of [my] leg" could be due to many things. If you're describing groin area where thigh joints pelvis, this might be a hernia or swollen lymph node (gland). Hematoma or bleeding could do this. Infection, too, even abscess, if red & painful. Severely broken bone but i think you'd have a pretty good idea of that. Hives? But those are temporary & itchy.
