See doctor...: You need to have this examined by your doctor to figure out what it is and to get it treated. If it has been there for 8 months, it is not going to go away on its own. Neck lump: It could be a cyst or a lipoma. Good news is, most things that are there for many years and don't cause problem in that time usually don't ever cause problems. But it's good to get it checked out. Other than xray, your doctor might suggest further imaging (MRI) and/or a biopsy to know for sure. ...Read more
