I have of a lump on my left side of my belly button, I can feel my aorta pulsating which hurts from time to time. Also I suffer from chest pains.

Get evaluated ASAP!: Without knowing more information - age, cardiac risk factors, more characteristics of chest pain, and other symptoms, I suggest you seek medical attention asap. Your pulsatile lump sounds like an umbilical hernia. If it is tender, it should also be evaluated as soon as possible.

Small lump in abdomen. What is this?

Small lump in abdomen. What is this?

Need more clues: The 2 most common lumps of the abdominal wall that I see include hernias and lipomas. A hernia is a hole in the abdominal wall thru which a sac can protrude, sometimes containing fat or even intestine. These are most common in the groin, belly button, or upper midline. Lipomas are fatty tumors that can occur anywhere on the abdominal wall. If you see your doctor, they should solve this easily. Read more

What to do if I have pulsating pain in right-upper quadrant (abdomen)?

What to do if I have pulsating pain in right-upper quadrant (abdomen)?

RUQ anatomy: Anatomically, the right upper quadrant (RUQ) of the abdomen includes: liver, gallbladder, pancreatic head, bile ducts and ampulla, c-loop of the duodenum, stomach antrum and pylorus, the hepatic flexure of the colon. Don't forget the diaphragm & lower chest are pretty close by. The abdominal musculature, ribs, & skin can all contribute as well to localizing RUQ pain. Lots to consider here. Read more
