What could have caused a pea size movable lump on collar bone and neck?

What could have caused a pea size movable lump on collar bone and neck?

Sounds like an enl--: Arged lymph node, from either an infection in the mouth, tonsils, tongue area; thyroid; chest infections or lesions in the lung. See your pcp to get evaluated with labs. Removal of the ln for biopsy would be best way to get the correct diagnosis.

I just found a small lump on my neck right above my left collar bone. What could this be?

Lymph node.: This is a common place for lymph nodes. It depends on how large and how long it has been there if it is a worry or not. This area usually does not have large nodes so see your doctor given the location.

Got 3 lumps on right side of neck 1 is 1 CM one below is smaller then I moves around my collar bone and one more on the left side. What could it be?

Lymph nodes?: It sounds as if you're got a few palpable lymph nodes, include at least one of the supraclavicular group. The average young person (my series) has two palpable lymph nodes. If they get really big or become fixed to a nearby structure, ask your physician. Best wishes.

Needs to be checked: You have had this lump and it seems to be growing bigger. I think it is about time you consult a doctor to find out what it is from and appropriately treated. It may be an enlarged lymph node, a cyst, or another kind of tumor. It definitely needs to be checked, investigated and treated

Reactive adenitis: You save some scalp area inflammation which has caused reactive lymph node swelling. Loving Google is your patriotic duty.......it is the underpinning of NSA.

I have a large lump on my collar bone near the neck and it is causing a lot of pain and I have been to 5 different specialists and so far no answer?

Sterno-Costal Pain: I have seen a few patients with this type of pain and it has been arthritic in nature at sterno-costal joint. Each patient we ordered x-ray and once defined we performed cortisone injections to the joint with much success. Patients got off pain meds. Obviously the joint is still the issue and the cause needs to be treated, changing stress placed on the joint by how you move or do your job.

Lymphnode: This is probably an enlarged lymphnode. These drain lymph from particular areas of the body and can be enlarged if there is inflammation, infection or a cancerous process going on. You may have had an inflammation in the head and neck area causing this

I have a damaged vocal cord due to Thyroidectomy, lately I noticed an internal lump above collar bone left to the neck, could it be related?

Perhaps, if: Your thyroidictomy was performed for cancer, it could be recurrence in lymph node. Otherwise, lump is probably not directly related to nerve damage. Ask your surgeon for further advice.

If you are still: Worried after your doctor told you not to worry, then get a second opinion. An ENT or head & neck surgeon would be able to evaluate your condition.

What do you suggest if my neck to my shoulder is swelling and I have two lumps on either side of my collar bone the aera is sore,?

What do you suggest if my neck to my shoulder is swelling and I have two lumps on either side of my collar bone the aera is sore,?

See a physician: This could represent swollen lymph nodes, or benign lipomas, or could even be just your body morphology (just the way you were born). See a physician to get it looked at for a proper evaluation and diagnosis.

What to do if I have 5 lumps on my right side of my neck. One kinda on my collar bone. One about a inch from my throat that?

Do not ignore: Most likely infection and not cancer. However, could be lymphoma. Also, there are higher rates of throat/tonsil cancer with neck lymph nodes in younger people (even nonsmokers) due to HPV infection. However, remember this is most likely an infection. It may need treatment with an antibiotic. If lumps persist, however, just do not forget that cancer is a potential cause.

Take child to doctor: What you describe may be lymph nodes which enlarge in response to an inflammation in parts of the body. It will be wise to let a physician take a look and determine the cause in this case.

Probably OK: If the lump is pea sized and not enlarging it is probably a reactive lymph node. Contact your doctor if it starts to get bigger. And relax, it sounds benign
