Lumpy pit: Could be an access which we see in clinic all the time. Your doctor will know how to deal with this. Could be an inflamed lymph node which is usually from your body fighting some infection, but needs to be followed closely to ensure it goes away. Depends: How long has it been there? A few days, weeks or months? Is it painful. Did you have a recent injury, cut or infection further down that arm in the past few days. Watch it closely. If the lymph node is noticeable after 3-4 wks, seek immediate attention with your doctor. The arm and 3/4ths of the breast drawn to the lymphatics in the armpit. That's a lymph node: Whatever injury occurred to the breast is 'known' to your immune system - as evidenced by the 'activation' of the lymph node. That is a garrison of your immunity- and it likely is responding. I would show this to a doctor who can make sure it's nothing more serious.
