A Benign: Growth, such a cyst or lipoma, ought to be considered and may be most likely. An md visit might offer reassurance.

Benign mass: You might look up "lipomas" and "schmerol's node" (spelling only approximate). The latter is a benign overdeveloped cartilage at the sacroiliac joint region of the low back. Neither portends much in the way of future medical problems.

Lump in lower right back for about 5 yrs. 3 yrs increasingly severe femoral nerve pain. Now losing muscle mass in right leg, pain when squatting?

Needs consultation: Recommend a neurological visit, and consider both imaging and EMG study. If your femoral nerve is involved, you can lose muscle bulk and strength over your thigh, and this can potentially be reversed. Not knowing the character of the "lump", would suggest at least a surgical consult also.

Lower back pains when I run on uneven surface and recently felt a small lump on my lower right back?

Lower back pains when I run on uneven surface and recently felt a small lump on my lower right back?

More info needed: Given your age, this is very likely a non-sinister cause like a muscular injury or strain. However, as others have said, you need to be examined + go through the history in much more detail to be sure. A physiotherapist or a GP are both good places to start.

See your doctor: It needs to be checked out to assure it is not a malignancy. You have a lot of symptoms for your age, I would get the growth checked out to assure it is not a lymphoma..

Severe back pain one day, feeling around noticed a hard lump, on my lower right back closer to my hip region. Feels as hard as a bone.

Back pain: Based on location and the hard lump sounds like a muscle spasm, try an over the counter pain reliever, chill out for a day or so and if it persists a consultation with your local doctor might be helpful.

I have a small movable lump in my lower back, right side. Not painful. Should I worry? Lipoma? Nerofibroma?

Lipoma: Lipoma is a likely diagnosis, but a physician would have to diagnose it. Lack of redness, pain and tenderness means that it is not inflamed or infected and may not have to be removed unless it's in an area of the body where it's subjected to continual irritation or unless it's growing or unless the examining physician recommends its removal.

Many Possibilities: There are a large number of possibilities. If it isn't growing and doesn't seem tender or painful, then it likely is not an aggressive problem. However, you should talk to your primary doctor about getting imaging or going to see a Neurosurgeon
