Lump In Groin Area Female
Female, 18. Lump in groin area: painless, firm but not hard, marble size and growing. It was first noticed about 5 months ago. What could it be?
Lymph node: Most of the time it is an inflammed lymph node - sometimes from a scratch on your leg, or from a cat. It is very rare for this lymph node to represent something like a lymphoma - a type of treateable cancer. As a precaution, you should see a doctor to check it given how long it has been around. Remember that this is still much more likely to be an irritated lymph node. Hernias tend to cause pain.See 1 more doctor answer
Pea sized lump in groin where upper leg meets abdomen and pelvis. Is this common? Does not hurt. Will watch but concerned. 25 female..
Lymph node: You are probably feeling an inguinal lymph node. If you just noticed this, and there are no others, watch it as you mentioned, but see your doctor if something changes (especially with your history).See 1 more doctor answer
Pea-sized lump: The most common pea-sized (3-5 mm) lump in the groin area is an ingrown-hair which blocks up a hair follicle and enlarges as normal gland secretions can't get out. These will usually take care of themselves, as long as the hair follicle itself does not get infected from the irritation, in which case an antibiotic would be indicated. Another possibility is a lymph gland, but these are usually large.
I have a small lump in groin area this is point where my inner thigh meets my groin area plz help and it's moveable?
He's currently being checked for hurchsprung diseise could this have anything to do with the lump in groin area he suffers severe bloating too?
See a Ped surgeon: I assume you're asking about a baby? Hirschprung's disease would be a cause for constipation. This could definitely be a cause for severe bloating. The lump in groin area may be a hernia that is worsened by straining on defecation due to Hirschprung's. I would recommend consulting your local pediatric surgeon for both.
I have a lump in groin area. I beleive its a cyst. Its painful, about the size of a grape. I have had these lumps (usually smaller) before and they us?
Lump groin: Yes most likely cyst based on previous history but get it checked out by a surgeon
25 y/o F. I have a lump in groin area btwn upper thigh and pelvic area. It is unmovable, approx 1 cm, painful even w/o touch, deep under skin.
Inguinal adenopathy: This is probably an enlarged lymph node which is helping to protect the area. On the other hand, if this is new, getting larger or you get more of them or have other symptoms or are simply worried, have your family doctor take a look.
Pea size painless lump in groin area right next to vagnia? What could this be? Could this be a STD or anything to do with a std?
Experiencing pelvic discomfort and sore back pain during period (2 days now). Felt small, hard pea-sized lump in groin area. What could it be?
STD?: The pea sized nodule you are feeling may be a lymph node and it may be enlarged due to an infection. The pelvic pain and back pain may be due to cervix infection. Usually these things occur together in something like Chlamydia infection and/or gonorrhea. Typically acquired sexually due to unprotected intercourse with a new partner or a partner who has acquired the infection from somewhere.
Hernia? LymphNode?: Possible causes of a lump in the groin include a hernia, an enlarged lymph node, a lipoma, or an abscess. Each of these will have features on physical examination that will help determine the correct diagnosis; therefore, it is imperative that you make an appointment to see your primary care doctor to help sort this out.
