What's your question: "lump in top of [my] leg" could be due to many things. If you're describing groin area where thigh joints pelvis, this might be a hernia or swollen lymph node (gland). Hematoma or bleeding could do this. Infection, too, even abscess, if red & painful. Severely broken bone but i think you'd have a pretty good idea of that. Hives? But those are temporary & itchy. 63 yr old male. Vertebrae hurts to the touch at back of neck. Pain and occasional numbness in left arm and hand. Headache in the back of lower head.
Evaluation needed: But you already knew that. I would recommend seeing your regular doctor, getting an xray of your neck. You will likely also need a few more tests including an MRI and emg/ncs. Hard to say.: The only objective detail in your question is the swollen gland in your neck. The other symptoms of radiating pain could be viral in origin. The other possibility is tmd. This problem of muscle hyperactivity in the muscles of mastication can radiate into the shoulders and neck.
