Lump In Armpit After Giving Birth

A 5yr lump in armpit cancerous or a lipoma? Got it after giving birth on my eldest. Now im in my 3rd pregnancy. Any treatment?
Most likely not: Mass in the armpit for a five years most likely is a benign lipoma. you can have a physician have it removed if it is bothering you so much. It could be extra mammary gland, if you noticed that it will get bigger and noticeable only while you are pregnant. Your doctor can assure you or treat you.
That should not: Be causing a lump in the armpit. An armpit lump can be an enlarged lymph node, a cyst or an inflamed hair follicle (possibly from shaving). Have it checked by your doctor to be sure of the diagnosis and treatment. If it's painful or red, you can apply warm compresses until it can be seen.See 1 more doctor answer
Yes and no: I've seen a case where mom had some displaced breast tissue in both armpits that began to enlarge when she started to breast feed her baby. Made her quite uncomfortable till it faded when she stopped. I have never heard of it happening any other time.

Lactiferous duct: A blocked or infalammed kactiferous dut can cause a tender breast lump or cyst. The lactiferous ducts carry the milk from the mamary gland to the sinuses behind the areola. Picture a tree where the roots are the sinuses and openings in the nipple and the branches and leaves are the mammary glands and lactiferous ducts.
Lump in right breast I am three weeks from my due date and found a small hard ball like lump in my right breast right next to my nipple. I am hoping it is just an infected glan and not breast cancer. Any way to find out before giving birth because I do de
Wife, 23, gave birth 4 days ago. Now has semi-hard, large, painful lumps in both armpits. Translucent white fluid is expelled from pores with pressure?
Extra breast tissue: A small percentage of women develop breast tissue in their armpits. It does not become obvious for some women until they begin to lactate, at which point the tissue produces milk but cannot drain effectively. This area can be iced and compressed and hopefully the tissue will stop producing milk and will shrink, without affecting her milk supply for the baby. Try to avoid stimulating the area.
Surgical excision: Most small lumps in the armpit, particularly if superficial, are sebaceous cysts due to a damaged hair follicle. Unless they become large and bothersome, most sebaceous cysts can be left alone. The most important thing is to have the lump examined by a qualified health care professional to make sure that it is indeed most likely a sebaceous cyst and not something of more concern.
Small movable lump in armpit that dr says has gone down in size. But I've had it for 3 months. Should I worry? She says she's not worried.
Lymphadenopathy: The doctor examining you is in the best position to make these decisions. Lymph nodes enlarge when they are doing what they are there for, fighting inflammation, and have some characteristics that can only be assessed by examining them. That is what your doctor is trained to do and she should be listened to. Best wishes.
Like a lump: I am not trying to be funny but often you cannot tell malignant vs. Non-malignant masses. Inflammed nodes are sometimes tender but don't depend on that. If you have palpable masses under the armpit, have 'em checked. Best to you.
It may be: Yes cancerous lumps can be painful in the armpit but a lump in the armpit is usually due to infected gland, and rarely cancerous.
I've had a armpit lump for 4+ years. It gets bigger then when I change diet It gets smaller. Been itching alittle. Do I have lymphoma? Been worried.
Lymphoma unlikely: It is not feasible to say what it is, without examining you. However, if it has been there for 4 years and no other lumps have appeared, it is highly unlikely to be lymphoma. You should consult a doctor any way.
Painless armpit lump that has blood when Isqueezed it a little. (thecolor like skin just a little darker)I am worried, could this be anything serious?
See doc: Although this may just be from an inflamed hair follicle, it is best that you get this checked out if it has failed to heal after 2 wks have passed.
Exam and mammogram: Hello, if you have a new breast lump, it needs to be evaluated by your primary doctor and you may need a mammogram or ultrasound for evaluation. If it is truly a new hard lump it needs to be biopsied, but pain by itself may not be anything worrisome. Some cancers cause pain, others don't, so pain is not a very reliable symptom.
Palpable armpit lump 10 days now. Started painful and red. Doesn't hurt now but still there. Healthy otherwise. Cancer?
Local infection: It is common for a hair follicle to get infected here. Cancers do not start this abruptly and they do not start painful or red like infections do. An infected hair follicle leaves a lump of healing tissue over several weeks.
