Lump In Arm Near Elbow
Difficult to say: It is obviously difficult to guess what a lump could be without an examination, so come in and let a physician see it.! if it is painless and in the back of the elbow it could be your olecranon bursa. Lumps and bumps around the elbow are fairly common. You need an exam and xrays.
I have a small hard lump on my arm near the elbow its not painful but would like to no what it is?
Biopsy: Follow up with a dermatologist a biopsy can be done if needed.
Lump: A lot more information is needed to answer this question. - is it painful -how long has it been there? -is it mobile? -has it grown in size? If so how rapidly? You should have it checked out by a local dermatologist or yor primary care doctor.
Could: Be swollen trochanteric bursa, if red or warm seek medical attention.
Bursa: I would think of a swollen bursa first.
Often: A benign fatty tumor called a lipoma. Get it check out the next time you are at the doctors office.
Was there an injury: Depends on where the lump is located and your symptoms
Small hard lump on elbow that does not move. Is apparent when elbow is bent, not felt when arm is straightened. Causes pain.?
Bursitis?: You possibly have the inflammation of Olecranon bursa also called Olecranon Bursitis, which seemed to be chronic in your case, try not to lean on your elbows, protecting your elbows during sports activities with elbow pads, See your provider for an Xray and possible Anti inflammatory medications.
Hard lump on the inside of my elbow where the arm bends. Only painful when pressed on. Area slightly red. Had it at least a week. What could this be?
Lymph node?: It sounds unusual, due to its hardness and tenderness. Should be evaluated to be certain it is not anything else. See your Dr or Urgent Care.
I had a lot of small bumps-which turned into a cluster of lumps-on my forearm & side of elbow. 2 wks prior I had an IV in this arm and swelled after?
Related?: Not exactly sure what you are describing but if they are close to the IV site it could be a superficial phlebitis but could also be an infection. Could be a reaction to what was given to you thru the IV but 2 weeks later much less likely. Best to let your doctor sort it out.
Small lump located half way between elbow and arm pit sort of hard on inner side left down from the bicept prob notlymphnode? Any ideas?
Hard to say: Best to have it examined by your doctor who knows your history.
What's the cause?? I've got pain when I straighten my R arm. On the inside just above my elbow there is a slight red mark and its painful, feel a lump
I have a big lump on my rt fore arm I also have a couple of small lumps and even smaller ones in both elbows very painful from shoulders to fingers?
Sounds serious: At least potentially. Are these bumps at all tender? Any streaks up the arm? Lumps in armpits? Have you been bitten or scratched by any animal (especially cat) or insect? Any fever? You should see someone to find out what's going on, especially with the pain. It could get worse quickly and you would be in pain and without guidance. Good luck!
I have a small lump (~1cm) under my skin, alittle above my elbow on my inner arm. Its a little raised. Had it for about 6month. Should I be worried?
No: Ihave always found simple excision and pathology analysis of a lump alleviates fear.
I have a lump in my right arm to the left of my elbow its hard and hurts a lot what should I do no trama there is 4 of them total and there pretty big?
Lump on inner arm above elbow, it aches and I'm absolutely terrified, feels like peas and is moveable, what could it be?
That's All I Knowed: Sounds like a lymph node. They are little rubbery things that fight infection. First they may get tender, then they may enlarge in response to a progressing infection or inflammation. Next step on that train is the armpit. The lump you describe is probably the "epitrochlear" lymph node or nodes that fight infection in the last 2 or 3 fingers and that part of the palm. Anything there??? If not.....
I have a lump under skin on right arm by my elbow. Can not tell if it is attached. Does not hurt. It is raised slightly what could it be?
Not sure.: This could be many things. If it has been there for longer than a couple of weeks, i'd see a physician and have it checked out!
Hi I have a large hard lump on my right lower arm right below the elbow and it started off looking like a bruise but now it grew to be huge?
Bump: Depends on location. If it is under the elbow in the area of the olecranon it simply is bursitis and easily can be drained. See your PCP first and he can refer you if needed.
