Lump By My Vagina
A Bartholin's Cyst: It is very ikely that you have a barthoin's cyst--it is typically not an infection but can be caused by infection which blocks the gland/duct, thus collection of fluid (swelling) to cause the "bump." this can be size of a pea up size of an egg. Simple incision may do the job, but if infected, antibiotic is needed and cyst may need to be excised. Consult your doc. Good luck.
Blocked gland: The most common reason for a lump inside the vagina is a blocked gland. There are a lot of gland that produce lubrication in the area. Sometimes with sweaty rubbing, dead skin and bacteria can get pushed into the pore of the gland blocking it. Fluid will get backed up and form a lump. The best thing to try first is moist heat for 10 minutes 2-4 times daily.
Get it looked at: We can guess what it might be, but it is best for you to know what it is. This means that you have to get it looked at and get a pelvic exam. Symptoms like these deserve a full evaluation in person by your health care provider. The fact that you are having pain indicates that it needs evaluated. Good luck and I hope it is something simple and benign like a simple cyst.

Inclusion cyst: The most likely explanation is something called a sebaceous inclusion cyst. If it looks like a blister or is painful, then herpes must be considered. The best way to confirm what it is is to schedule an appointment.
Must be seen: The "lump" must be seen by a GYN MD to identify its' origin and then determine why it was present.
