I have 5-7 lumps on my neck, behind ear, spine. they start out like a small hard lump or large lump and scab over. im 22. is this cancer? it dont hurt

Possibly infection: If the lesions end up with scabs it sounds more likely that these lumps are infection such as a boil or abscess. However, I tend to be conservative and the lumps should be evaluated and if necessary a biopsy may be taken or if there is discharge then a culture could be taken. See a medical provider. Good luck ...Read more

I've got a small, hard, fixed in place lump behind my ear lobe, sort of in line with my mouth. It hurts to touch. Could be a sign of cancer?

Level II Lymph Node: What you are describing is a level ii lymph node. These are enlarged when you get a sore throat, and can be enlarged when cancer spreads to them as well. You could also have an infection (that might be red or warm). The fact that it is hard, though, makes it more worrisome for cancer. I would definitely have it checked out. ...Read more

May or may not be!: Enlarged lymph nodes are commonly due to infection or inflammation. In such cases the node is tender to touch/pressure. But you need an exmaination from your doctor who will do a biopsy if the node is suspicious for Cancer. Without a biopsy we're all guessing. ...Read more
