Don't worry...: Unfortunately, they should have told you what it is, rather than say "nothing." however, if the ultrasound was reported as negative, you shouldn't worry. It could be what is known as a hydrocele (a benign collection of fluid), but without the report i can't suppose. I would call and ask your referring physician what they reported that it was. Inguinal hernia: Which was decompressed at time of sonogram. Is likely diagnosis. It is an emergency if you can't push it back.
