Rest in bed for --: No more than 2 days + take a pain med (like advil (ibuprofen) or aleve), a muscle relaxer, apply a heating pad for 20-30 minutes x 3-4 times a day, and start stretching exercises. See below: A little soreness is okay. What it looks like at the needle puncture site is important. If no fever or severe pain or redness/swelling at the injection site or pus coming out, than it's probably fine.
