Lower back, right hip and side pain from within my body. Numbness on my buttock and upper thigh. I have taken ibuprofen to relieve the pain everyday. When I don't take the ibuprofen, I wake up daily with this pain. Have had this pain for about 3 wks.

That is odd: Continued pain as you described is of some concern. You may have scar tissue. There may be some injury to the ureter (the tune from the kidney tintype bladder) which may explain the left-sided back pain though this is not that common in C-sections. Finally, it may be chronic back issues or positional problems even nerve stretching or injuries from the procedure itself though less likely. ...Read more

May be adhesions or a fluid collection or even abscess/ infection/retained product-endometriitis (usually have fever). Consider an untrasound or CT to check for infection.
