I have a very hard knot on lower right rib on my back side that's been there 20 plus years. Now have some periodic uncomfortable swelling around it.
Important: Any change in a swelling that has been there for a long time is always of concern. You need to see a physician quickly who may have to additional tests like ct or MRI followed by a biopsy.
